Mark Quigley a member of the National Association of Estate Agents was a founding director of C.A.R.L. Communications Ltd. With over 12 years involvement in the lettings industry, including many years as a letting manager, he joined forces with Peter Briggs to design and produce the C.A.R.L. software package.
Peter was a joint founder of C.A.R.L. Communications Ltd in 1997. He first programmed computers in 1969 (when they were the size of a very large desk) and has been involved in their evolution ever since. He spent many years in Personnel Management and Theatre Technical Management, with his first major programming project was a computerised Theatre Box Office system in 1989. After leaving the world of theatre he went on to develop a successful computerised Engineering Production Control System before devoting himself to developing C.A.R.L.
Peter is a Chartered Surveyor who has worked for the Inland Revenue, and has been in the letting industry for over ten years. He has recently sold his second letting practice to carryout the Duties of Director of training full time. He has been a C.A.R.L. trainer for 8 years. Peter’s immense experience within the lettings industry allows him to share ideas with clients, and help them run their businesses smoothly. A number of clients have used this experience to carryout new starts in lettings with no previous experience.
Diane has 12 years I.T. experience both in a support role and in retail. She joined C.A.R.L. in 1999, being one of the first members of the C.A.R.L team. As Client Manager she is developing the client relationship process and hopes to further develop other areas of the business.
Amy joined the C.A.R.L. support team back in 2004 where she has worked both as customer service and in a testing capacity. Her development was swift and being recognised as management material she was quickly promoted to Support Manager. Prior to C.A.R.L. Amy studied English and Communication studies at the University of Liverpool. After leaving university she worked full time in the Customer Services department of a large food distribution company.
Carl has worked for C.A.R.L. (no connection) since 1999, passing on the wealth of knowledge he has on the system to current clients. Previous to C.A.R.L., he was employed by Holroyd and Meek for 8 years as a FLT supervisor.
Gavin spent many years in the Royal Bank of Scotland in the City followed by various roles in telecoms, before deciding to pursue a career in the lettings industry. Having run three letting agencies, this gives Gavin not only the experience of C.A.R.L. but also an in-depth knowledge of lettings.
Wende has worked for C.A.R.L. for two years, commencing her employment as sales and training admin personnel. Her development was swift and being recognised as management material she was quickly promoted. Prior to C.A.R.L. she worked for as a recruitment consultant dealing with industrial staff.
Emma joined C.A.R.L. in 2008 as our Accounts Administrator. Prior to C.A.R.L. she worked for the local council and social services. Emma deals with the credit control and invoicing for C.A.R.L.
