Client account reconciliation, balance and audit.

With increasing regulation and enforcement, management of the client account has never been more important. This is especially the case if you’re a member of a governing body such as ARLA, RICS or NALS.

Where C.A.R.L. is used to manage properties, create tenancy agreements, log repairs, track rents and pay landlords/contractors it will also be producing an extensive range of financial transactions.

By expanding your knowledge of C.A.R.L. you can also manage your client account. Not only reconcile the bank statement but produce a detailed analysis of your client account

To do this fully and where appropriate comply with the different requirements of the governing bodies there are several critical processes, each can be tailored to reflect specific requirements. Having these options set correctly and following a robust procedure is fundamental to gaining maximum benefit from the system whilst simultaneously streamlining your account management.

Over the years we have helped many clients make the move to full account management and have now developed a specialist ‘Advanced Account Management’ training program.

As part of this training you will receive:

• A dedicated accounts training consultant

• One day on-site advanced client account training/consultation

• Ongoing account management remote support

During the training we will review use of:

• Property/landlord misc debits and credits

• Entry and tracking of receipts including rents

• Management and processing of repair costs

• Payments of landlords, contractors and yourself the agent

• Use of BACS, Cheque, Cash and Credit Card options

• Statement reconciliation

• Balance rent account

• Existing processing procedures

• Options within User Setup

• Requirements of governing bodies (where applicable)

Onsite:

The day’s on-site training will commence with a review of current practice. This review will enable us to identify individual training requirements and to develop a bespoke, step by step protocol aimed at tidying existing account balances, with the ultimate objective being to run the client account management options live with the day to day management of the business.

Follow-up:

Following the intensive on-site training/consultation we will then schedule a series of remote VNC sessions. Through these sessions we can review progress and provide continuing guidance, helping to ensure the accounts become fully balanced and the options available within C.A.R.L. are being used to maximum benefit.
